Here is some initial concept work I worked up last night:

Also the definition of Proton Pseudos:
In the second part ("Psychopathology") of Project for a Scientific Psychology (1950c [1895]) Freud introduced proton-pseudos in relation to hysteria. The term relates to Aristotle and the theory of the syllogism, which describes the link between false premises and false conclusions: if the premises are false, if there is an original error, then the conclusion must necessarily be false in spite of the soundness of the intermediary reasoning. The proton-pseudos refers to those false premises, the original error.
The project is aimed at being high art and high tech (code) with real time day and night simulation, traffic / flocking simulation and boids all affecting the narrative. The interface itself may well be the detectives desk strewn with clues, a window with a view of day / night (and NYC) an evolving map and a few explorable environments within NYC. I'm pleased to be working in a group of 5 that includes a chap with a background in theatre design, a Japanese fellow with a background in information management (heavy coding) and a Swedish man with a background in Philosophy.
